Prove not only that your equipment measures, but that it measures correctly — and keeps doing so throughout the process.
Calibration tells you an instrument’s deviation at one moment in time. Verification and validation answer a different question: does this equipment hold the required tolerance, under real operating conditions, throughout the process?
In the aerospace and defence supply chain this distinction sits at the centre of every audit. Under AMS2750 it is not enough for a furnace to have a calibrated thermocouple; you must also demonstrate that temperature stays within tolerance at every point of the working volume.
Our services
Temperature uniformity survey (TUS)
Multiple thermocouples are placed throughout the working volume of a furnace or oven to measure the temperature distribution across the whole space. Reported according to the classes and intervals required by AMS2750.
System accuracy test (SAT)
The furnace’s own control sensor is compared against an independent reference sensor reading at the same point. This evaluates the accuracy of the complete measurement chain — sensor, cable and indicator together.
Thermal process equipment validation
Temperature distribution and process stability are measured in autoclaves, sterilisers, climatic chambers, cold rooms and drying ovens.
Reporting
Every survey is reported with the position of each measuring point, the raw data, deviation charts, the traceability chain of the reference standards used and the expanded measurement uncertainty. The report is ready to be presented directly at audit.
